San Fernando City Barangay Elections 2013, Results

San Fernando City Barangay Elections 2013 was held on Monday, the 28th of October 2013. This election was to elect barangay captain or barangay chairman and seven councilors to fill up elective posts in each barangay. The city of Porac in the province of Pampanga is composed of 35 barangays, and hence the registered voters in city had elected 35 barangay captains and 245 barangay councilors.

San Fernando City is the capital of the province of Pampanga and is considered a first class component city in the Philippines. It has a total land are of 67.74 square kilometers (26.15 sq mi) with a population of 285,912 people according to the 2010 census.

Dubbed as the “Christmas Capital of the Philippines”, San Fernando City, which is part of Metropolitan Angeles, is located 67 kilometres (42 mi) north of Manila, 50 kilometres (31 mi) east of Subic Bay in the Zambales province, and 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) south of Clark Air Base in Angeles City.

The City of San Fernando, which is part of the 3rd district of Pampanga, is politically subdivided into 35 barangays.
