Bataan Official Candidates and Mock Elections 2013

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has released the lists of Bataan official candidates for the coming 2013 local elections.

The Bataan local elections will be held in the Province of Bataan on May 13, 2013 within the Philippine general election. Voters will select Bataan official candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and representatives for the two districts of Bataan.

According to Headline Gitnang Luzon, three-term and incumbent Bataan Second District Congressman Albert (NUP) is running governor of the province against three-term and incumbent Dinalupihan town Mayor Joel Payumo (NPC).

Three-term and incumbent Governor Enrique Garcia (NUP), former governor Ding Roman (NPC), actor turned businessman Onemig Bondoc (Aksyon Demokratiko), and Reynan Calderon of Makabayan Coalition, are all running congressman as Bataan official candidates for Second District.

Former Bases Conversion Development Authority chairman Felicito “Tong” Payumo (NPC) is challenging re-electionist Bataan First District Congresswoman Herminia Roman (LP), a post he held for three consecutive terms in the past.
Lawyer Jay Consunji (NPC) is running vice governor against incumbent Vice Governor Bonjong Pascual (LP).

For this election, the Garcias, Congresswoman Roman and Vice Gov Pascual joined forces against the camp of Payumos and former governor Roman.

Natib, Balon Anito, Dunsulan Falls, Pasukulan Falls and Mt. Silangan.
