Second Presidential Debate 2016 Live Streaming

The next round of the presidential debate – to be held on March 20 in Cebu – will be one hour longer than the previous one and telecast live by TV5 with partners The STAR, Pilipino Star Ngayon, BusinessWorld and The Freeman.


The second Presidental Debate 2016 is happening today at the Performing Arts Hall of the University of the Philippines in Cebu City on March 20, 2016.

Except Miriam Santiago, presidential aspirants Jejomar Binay, Rodrigo Duterte, Grace Poe, and Mar Roxas have confirmed to face opponents for the second time for a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes (one hour longer than the Mindanao leg), with just 40 minutes of commercial breaks in response to the long commercial breaks in the Mindanao leg.

The Visayas leg, or Cebu Face-Off, of PiliPinas Debates 2016 will be broadcast live on TV5. The event is also available to watch at News5Everywhere Live Streaming channel on YouTube.

The “Cebu Face-Off” will be moderated by the multi-awarded broadcast journalist and head of News 5, Luchi Cruz-Valdes.

She will be joined by a panel composed of highly respected and distinguished media personalities and journalists: veteran journalist, Aksyon anchor and Radyo 5 commentator Erwin Tulfo; News 5 anchor, multi-awarded public affairs host and digital influencer Lourd de Veyra; DYHP RMN Cebu commentator Atty. Ruphil Bañoc; Philippine Star managing editor and columnist Marichu Villanueva; Bloomberg TV PH host and economist Atty. Tony Abad; and Philippine Star editor in chief Ana Marie Pamintuan.
