Cynthia Villar Lambasts Filipino Nurses in her GMA’s Q & A Portion

Here’s the full transcript of the interview:

And as a result, nagresign po si Chairman Fr. Rolando dela Rosa, nagresign ang buong Technical Committee on Nursing Education.”

Ngayon, Cong. Villar, can you reconcile itong parang seeming disconnect between yung desire ninyo to help the poor at saka sa pagpapanig nyo sa mga owners ng mga educational institutions na gustong isara ng Technical Nursing Committee at saka yung CHED?”

Villar: “Maraming salamat, Mareng Winnie.  I want to explain that situation to you. And then, sinasabi nila na kaya daw nila gustong ipasara dahil walang tertiary hospital kasi sa mga nursing school to where they can train.

In other words, if its only a matter of investment, bakit po hindi sila ma-employ-employ. At bakit po nag-resign ang Technical Nursing Education Committee at saka nag-resign after only 7 months in office.  Do you think they just did not understand?”

Villar: “Yung pag-re-resign po ni Father is a personal quarrel with the owner of a school.

The statement Cynthia Villar said was during the GMA News TV program “Pagsubok ng mga Kandidato” aired last February 23, 2013, where political candidates are put under 1 minute to answer a question from the panelist.
