Rizalito Yap David is a socio-political analyst.

Born in Tondo, Manila on 12 January 1962, Lito David is a member of the executive committee of the Ang Kapatiran Party (AKP). He is also a Roman Catholic and Pro-Life advocate by spiritual conviction and a Christian Socialist by political persuasion. He is a member of the Contemplative Outreach Philippines and was a senatorial candidate of the AKP during the 2010 national elections.

Lito David has participated in various symposia, seminars, conferences and fora both locally and abroad during his professional years as researcher, community organizer, academic lecturer, political and legislative officer.

He was elected representative to the University Student Council in successive years, and as Chairman of the UP Los Banos Student Council in 1981. Lito David has represented the studentry in many conferences, forums and symposia. Concurrent to these positions, he was a staff member of the UP Los Banos Perspective, the student organ and member of various student organizations including the Writers Club.

Lito David was a product of a Science High School in Manila in 1979.

He was also involved in advocacy and organizing work among students in universities and labor and peasant groups in various regions during most of his student and professional years.
